Mr Gustavo Ferro:

Independent consultant in international trade and development. Lead researcher of the Cacao Market Information for CBI (Dutch Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries). External expert for the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO).

Gustavo is an independent trade and development consultant providing technical assistance to companies and organisations involved in agricultural value chains, including specialty cocoa, coffee and natural ingredients. He is the lead researcher of the Cacao Market Information for CBI, in collaboration with Lisanne Groothuis (ProFound – Advisers In Development) and Maurits de Koning. Gustavo has also supported the value chain analysis for CBI’s Connecting Central America Programme and other projects for the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) / Swisscontact in Colombia and Peru.
