The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) connects you with reliable, high-quality suppliers equipped to do business with a European partner. Within its ‘Connecting Central America’ initiative, CBI helps SMEs and cooperatives to become more competitive on the European market. The initiative is co-financed by the European Union and coordinated by SIECA.
Many trade fairs have been cancelled due to COVID-19. Because of this, CBI now helps you to virtually meet more than 20 carefully selected specialty coffee producers and exporters from 6 countries in Central America.

Due to the unique origins with very varied aromas and flavours, and a history behind the product, Central America is a source of high-quality coffee, carefully produced and processed by small and medium coffee farmers.
The Connecting Central America initiative presents cooperatives, estates and private companies from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, representing the main producing regions of each country. All participants are focused on sustainability and social commitment and offer a diversified portfolio of quality from different terroirs, ranging from micro-lots to full containers of certified coffee.
