A major trend for agricultural raw materials is traceability and transparency in supply chains. Stakeholders want products that are safe and have a trustworthy supply chain. Consumers demand ethical and safe products. One of the most powerful tools for traceability and transparency is blockchain technology. Since the pandemic, the demand for transparency of ingredient origins and product safety has increased.

During this webinar, we will discuss the opportunities blockchain technology provides for natural ingredients and agricultural products.
The webinar will address the following questions:

  • What is blockchain technology, and how does it work?
  • What are the main applications of blockchain technology for agricultural products and ingredients?
  • What are the benefits of blockchain technology?
  • What opportunities can blockchain provide to natural ingredient exporters in developing countries?
  • What are the risks of this new technology?
  • How can producers in developing countries prepare for blockchain and digitalisation?
