Workshop: How to trade pulses with the EU and other markets

Do you have a business in Africa or a MENA country, and are you exporting or considering export? Would you like to learn more about the market potential in the European Union (EU) and other markets? This pulse and bean workshop looks at trends and challenges for exporters. We will also cover which products have potential and how you can add value to your product. 

Agenda

This workshop is on 7 April from 11:00 to 12:30 CEST.  It has 2 parts:

Part 1: Trends and challenges

In this part of the workshop, we will cover:

• The trends;
• The main challenges for pulses exporters;
• An overview of an EU market analysis with buyers of beans and pulses; and
• Insights from 2 guest speakers (a trader and a retailer).
   

Part 2: Supply countries and products with market potential

In this part of the workshop, we will look at:

• Which suppliers and products have potential in Europe; and
• How you can add value to your product.

Part 2 will also include a panel discussion.

Throughout the workshop, you have the opportunity to ask the experts questions.

Presenters

Louke Koopmans, CBI Sector Account Manager Grains, Pulses and Oilseeds, will moderate the workshop. Michel Peperkamp, Market Intelligence researcher for CBI, will present it.
